3。从前后各翻开几页，然后拇指放到接近装订线位置。继续下去，每次数页，直到书的中间位置（见图12-2c）。 4。完成后，拨弄所有页面数次，让张变得更柔软（图12-2）。 注意：你在放松书的时候，不要从书的中心位置把书打开，然后用拇指在装订线上下移动，因为这样会使书的装订线破裂。用胶装订的平装书，更需要小心。注意要一直从外向里放松书。
读后几个月，即使仔细回忆书中内容，也不可能想起太多细节。所以重在读前先确定目标，想记住什么内容，然后找出一种信息获取方法，以最快的速度完成目的。只要达到目的就意味着读完这本书了。不要有内疚感。
