这里的颠覆不仅指向那种制度上的大变革,更是一种日常生活中的小改变:能不能不开“娘炮”的玩笑?能不能不觉得底层很“臭”,黑人很“脏”?能不能不觉得家务小孩都是女人,甚至“阿姨”的事?……谈起结构的不平等,人人都能说上两句,但是日常生活实践中的伤害却是在点滴的下意识中累积起来的。
由于异性恋者有更大的自由谈论自己的个人生活,这样的谈话就成了一种特权,因为非异性恋者没有这项权利。异性恋者很少意识到这一点,这也是他们特权的一部分。
一堆人并不能等同于社会系统,社会系统不能简化成一堆人。
这种把社会系统只当作一堆人的想法,使特权群体,会在别人碰击这个社会的种族主义、性别歧视、阶级偏见时,觉得自己受到了人身攻击。
