内容简介

《中国诗词曲史略》所论述的,是以汉语为表现媒介的诗词曲,在中国文化精神的影响下产生和变迁的历史。全书由上下两编构成。上编为诗歌概论,从诗字原始观念的形成、《诗经》和《楚辞》,论述到少数民族诗人和域外汉诗,在最广泛的范围中展示了中国诗学在技巧上、题材上、语言上和审美趣味上的变化;下编为词曲概论,全面考察了从诗到词、从词到曲的转折,并且比较了诗词曲在形式、内容和风格上的异同,勾勒出词曲历史的发展脉络。最后,综合诗词曲中白话因素的不断增强,指出新诗在整体上取代旧诗的历史必然。本书有两个写作重心,一是注重中国诗学初创期和转型期的讨论,包括观念和技巧、题材和审美趣味;另一个重心是注重诗歌语言的变迁,重点从这两个角度描述了两千五百年诗词曲的复杂而曲折的变迁史。

中国拥有悠久的文学历史,如何保存、呈现这些伟大作品,描述、阐释卓越文学家的伟大创造,历代人都为之付出了巨大努力。现代学术诞生以来,又有很多外国学者加入了努力的行列,他们以各有异同的立意、视野、取材、剪裁向世人呈现了丰富多姿的中国文学的面貌。而本书的呈现,也是有其特定视角的。郑樵说“古者记事之史谓之志”,其著作追求的是“会通之旨”,意欲“总天下之大学术而条其纲目”(《通志总序》)。本书无此奢望,但也追求能将中国诗词曲当作一个整体而“条其纲目”,使普通非专业读者对于中国诗学的特征、演变、价值和意义有一基本认识。所以,本书既不刻意追求独创性,也不列举炫耀稀见文献,只是对被历代公认为“杰作”的作品以及它们之间的关系作了个人解读。

张伯伟,南京大学文学院教授、域外汉籍研究所所长。曾任日本京都大学、韩国外国语大学及台湾大学、香港科技大学、香港浸会大学客座教授。著有《中国古代文学批评方法研究》(2002)、《全唐五代诗格汇考》(2002)、《清代诗话东传略论稿》(2007)、《东亚汉籍研究论集》(2007)、《禅与诗学》(2008)、《作为方法的汉文化圈》(2011)、《域外汉籍研究入门》(2012)、《东亚汉文学研究的方法与实践》(2017)、《日本世说学文献序录》(2021)等;编纂《朝鲜时代书目丛刊》(2004)、《中华大典·文学理论分典》(2008)、《朝鲜时代女性诗文集全编》(2011)、《日本世说新语注释集成》(2020)等。
