斯蒂芬·霍尔盖特（Stephen Houlgate） 英国华威大学哲学教授，《英国黑格尔学会会刊》（Bulletin of the Hegel Society of Great Britain）主编，曾任美国黑格尔学会副会长、会长。著有《黑格尔<精神现象学>导读》(Hegel's 'Phenomenology of Spirit': A Reader's Guide)、《黑格尔<逻辑学>的开端》（The Opening of Hegel's 'Logic'）、《 黑格尔、尼采与对形而上学的批判》（Hegel, Nietzsche and the Criticism of Metaphysics）等，编有《黑格尔与艺术》（Hegel and the Arts）、《黑格尔读本》（The Hegel Reader）、《黑格尔与自然哲学》（Hegel and the Philosophy of Nature）和《布莱克威尔黑格尔研究指南》（Blackwell Companion to Hegel）等。
