爱德华·杰伊·爱波斯坦,美国记者、作家。曾于康奈尔大学与哈佛大学研习政治学,并于1973年取得哈佛大学的博士学位。他曾在麻省理工学院与加州大学洛杉矶分校教授政治科学,但后来却决定从事写作,因为他认为写作更像是一桩教育事业。《好莱坞电影经济的内幕》收录了爱波斯坦在《纽约客》《华尔街日报》《金融时报》《页岩》等杂志上发表的专栏文章,这是他的第十四部著作。
