作者简介
沈从文（1902-1988），小说家、散文家。原名沈岳焕，湖南凤凰人。1918年小学毕业后，随本乡土著部队在沅水流域各县生活，后正式参加军队。 1922年受五四运动影响离开军队到北京，学习写作。1924年起开始在北京《晨报》副刊、《现代评论》、《小说月报》发表作品。1934年至1935 年，在北京、天津编辑《大公报》文艺副刊。抗战爆发后在昆明西南联大任教。新中国成立后，在中国历史博物馆和故宫博物院工作。著有长篇小说《边城》、《长河》等，散文集《湘行散记》、《湘西》等。
