内容简介
《中国历史地理论集》主要收录了侯仁之从事城市历史地理、沙漠历史地理、中国古代地理学史研究的代表作，同时收录多篇追溯求学经历的文章，展现一代学人的思想与风采。侯仁之的学术工作一方面与国内的社会现实相结合，一方面又与国际的学术前缘相接轨，《中国历史地理论集》的出版力求突出侯仁之作为研究者和文化交流使者的双重身份。收录的大部分中英文稿均为侯仁之撰写，其中有几篇为首次发表。

作者简介
侯仁之（1911—2013），历史地理学家，北京大学教授、中国科学院院士。侯仁之是中国现代历史地理学的重要奠基者和开拓者，主要从事城市历史地理、沙漠历史地理，以及中国古代地理学史、历史地理学方法论方面的研究，在理论与实践两方面为中国历史地理学的发展作出了重要贡献。
主要代表作有《历史地理学的理论与实践》、《历史地理学四论》、《侯仁之文集》、《北平历史地理》等，主编《北京历史地图集》、《北京城市历史地理》等。
