本期的“克罗地亚和斯洛文尼亚建筑”专辑将向读者介绍这两个国家的九个建筑事务所及其作品。与那些被国际明星建筑师占领的报道相比，这里的建筑景象由本土建筑师来巧妙诠释，他们深深扎根于当地气候、自然、传统和生活方式；他们，才是为国家发展做出重要贡献的主体。

在“杭州建筑”专辑中，我们看到了中国本土建筑师们对当下杭州的城市及建筑发展方向的荐言。除西溪湿地艺术村三期工程和之江文化创意园、江南会之外，业余建筑事务所的作品也显示了建筑师一贯坚持的“重建中国当代本土建筑学”的观念。

The feature of Architecture in Croatia and Slovenia introduces the work of nine offices in these two countries. In contrast to regions where the news is dominated by spectacular commissions to international star architects, the architectural scene here is characterized by skillful reinterpretations from architects who are firmly rooted in the climate, landscape, traditions, and lifestyles of their homelands. Important contributions are expected from them toward the development of the their countries.

In the feature of Architecture in Hangzhou, we witness the perspectives from the local Chinese architects upon where the current Hangzhou city and architectures should be led. Apart from the Phase Ⅲ of Xixi Wetland Art Village,,Zhijiang Culture Creative town and Jiangnanhui, the works of Amateur architecture studio also indicate the view of “rebuilding the modern local architecture of China” - always persisted by the architect.
